I plugged in my new iPhone and just saw that there's
a new software update. Apple is keeping pretty quiet
on exactly what this update includes, they just say
the standard "bug fixes."
At first glance I notice that my airport reception is
now showing at full strength no matter where I go in
my (albeit small, 2 bedroom condo). Previously, I was
getting only 1-2 bars of strength even when I was in
the same room as the airport. I'm not sure whether my
signal reception is truly better or whether the
indicator was just fixed. I've noticed in various mac
forums that other users are reporting that the iPod
no longer stalls when your browse multiple web pages
in Safari. i really haven't had much of an
opportunity to use my iPhone as an iPod so I can't
confirm this.
We'll have more on this update and the mysterious
"bug fixes" on our next podcast...stay tuned.
